Alexandra Prow is a pianist, vocalist, and nonprofit creative producer based in New York City. Originally from Shelby, North Carolina, she received her B.A. in Music from Vassar College. Alexandra has performed in vocal ensembles at Carnegie Hall (New York), the Cathedral of St. John the Divine (New York), The Kennedy Center (Washington, D.C.), Bardavon Opera House (Poughkeepsie, NY), Christ Church Cathedral (Oxford), and UNESCO Headquarters (Paris). In 2026 she received a Brother Justin Fellowship to attend the Orein Arts Residency. Recent piano programs include a soundwalk performed and designed for the Carl Schurz Park Conservancy, a two-piano concert at the National Opera Center, and a forthcoming solo recital at the Brooklyn Public Library.
Alexandra has produced public education programs and events for social justice and human rights organizations in venues around the world, including Det Norske Teatret (Oslo), Museo Nacional de AntropologĂa (Mexico City), Ford Foundation Center for Social Justice (New York), and Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall (New York). In addition to her work as a freelance program strategist, Alexandra has served as Director of the Oslo Freedom Forum and as Associate Director of Program Management at Purpose Campaigns.
